PGA Head Professional - Ben Kerr

Ben joined Royal Worlington as Club Professional in 2019.

Coaching and competiting are the two main aspects that underpin Ben's career in golf. He loves helping golfers improve, enjoy the game and reach their personal golfing ambitions, earning himself a reputation as one of the top coaches in the area.

In 2019, as The Cambridgeshire Area Golf Union Boys Head Coach, a role that he still enjoys doing today, Ben helped oversee the under 18s team win the East Midland League for the first time in the counties history.

With a well stocked shop offering all the golfing essetials as well as Callaway and PING custom fitting. A very well equipped coaching studio including; TrackMan, Cameras, BodiTrak Pressure Mat and HackMotion wrist sensor. Ben can offer both golf retail and golf coaching services to both members and non-members of Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club.

PGA Assistant Professional - Tom Rogers

Tom turned professional and joined the team at Royal Worlington in 2020.

A strong amateur golfer, he achieved a handicap of +1 and won the Sharplin Bowl, which is awarded to the player who wins the most points for Cambridgeshire a season.

Now a professional golfer, he is studying to become a full member of the PGA by completing a three year foundation degree in professional golf studies run by the PGA, accredited by the University of Birmingham.

Having recently achieved his Level 1 certificate in golf coaching and already completed Level 1 & 2 of the TrackMan certification process, Tom is looking forward to helping golfers in lessons at Royal Worlington in the near future.
